Saints Community Connection Program
The Interlake High School (IHS) PTSA is proud to offer community service awards to students who are interested in completing additional community service hours during their high school years.
This optional community service program is called the Saints Community Connections (SCC). To clarify the differences between these programs, a comparison of the required BSD program and the optional SCC program is illustrated in the
Community Service Programs chart. Details concerning the SCC program are included in the SCC
Community Service Guidelines.
All of this information can be found in the September edition of the Paw Prints, in the IHS Counseling Center, and on the IHS website
www.bsd405.org/ihs/. Students can keep track of their hours with this
Community Service Record form.
The Volunteer Opportunities bulletin board and book in the Counseling Center are excellent resource for finding places to get involved in community service. The bulletin board is updated regularly with new ideas so please stop by often to check it. Opportunities are also posted in the daily bulletin and the Saints News. Below are suggestions for community service locations.
